The Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDCL) IPO has opened from Baisakh 11, 2079 to Baishakh 25, 2079. If it will not unsubscribe, the issue can be extended up to Jestha 09, 2079.

Who can Apply for Bindhyabasini Hydropower IPO : A total of 10,00,000 shares were issued at a par value of Rs. 100 per share now. Locals of Kwhlosothar Rural Municipality, wards no. 5, 6, and 7 of Lamjung and wards no. 8 and 9 of Madi Municipality in Kaski can apply for 7 lakh shares. And, the remaining of 3 lakh shares can apply by the other residents of Kwhlosothar Municipality and Madi Municipality.

Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) was incorporated in 2057/09/03 to develop, operate and maintain 15.4 MW project through the corridor of Rudi Khola compromising two cascade projects of Rudi A (8.8 MW) and Rudi B (6.6 MW). The authorized share capital of BHDC is 200 Crores. BHDC is focused on developing and implementing affordable renewal energy projects that enhance productivity and improve Nepalese living standards. We are driven to use state-of-the-art technology that maximizes the potential of hydro products in Nepal, that is why we have awarded our contract with Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corporation (India) Limited subsidiary of TPSC Tokyo, Japan. Our team consists of great professionals, each passivate about of the vision and our ambitions. The multiples business experience and technical knowledge within the company resulted in the completion of first project of RUDI A (8.8 MW) in 2018.

Rudi Khola-A Small Hydropower Project (8.8 MW) is located at Mijuredanda VDC of Kaski district. Likewise, Rudi Khola B Small Hydropower project (6.6 MW) which is a run-of-river type of project located just upstream of panned Rudi-A Small Hydropower Project. Major part of Rudi-B Small Hydropower Project is located in Lamjung district at Pasgaun VDC. Rudi khola precisely is located within the boarder of Lamjung and Kaski district. Geographical coordinate of the Rudi-A project area is located between Longitudes 84° 11′ 00″ E and 84° 13′ 00″ E and Latitudes 28° 13′ 51″ N and 28° 16′ 20″ N. The catchment area of Rudi above the collection intakes is 53.43m2 including all collection works from Chhedwa and Rudi from the left bank. Likewise, the geographical coordinate of the Rudi-B project area is located between longitudes 84o11’00” to 84o13’00” and latitudes 28o16’20” to 28o17’50”. The catchment area of Rudi above the collection intakes is 35.3m2 including all collection including Ligur khola from the right bank. The road distance of the project sites from the capital city Kathmandu is 200 kms approx. The project site is accessible from Damauli and Rambazzar and also from Pokhara via Mungribesi. New Access Track along Rudi- A alignment follows up to Rudi-B PH which is used by this project for construction of the project.
