Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited has issued the total of 4,00,000 unit IPO shares to local public of Nuwakot District from today. Local investors can apply the Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company IPO from Shrawan 32 – Bhadra 14, 2078. The IPO date will be extended up to Bhadra 29, 2078 If it unsubscribed by Bhadra 14, 2078. Applicants can apply for a minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 50,000 units for this IPO.
The company has planned to issue the 30% of paid up capital to public. In the first lot, it has issued for local public and in second lot, it will be issues for general public. The company’s total registered shares is 40,00,000 shares . Out of which 12,00,000 shares will be issued to the public. After the IPO is issued in two lots, the company’s paid-up capital will be reached Rs 40 crore and the company’s promoter and public shareholding ratio will be 70 % and 30%.

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydro was established on 17th October 2007. It converted to a Public limited company on August 16, 2017 as the name of Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydro Power Company Limited. The company has aimed to develop and promote the hydropower project in Nepal. Its main objective is to supply electricity to the national grid by utilizing Nepal’s natural wealth of hydroelectric potential. It is promoting the Hydropower sector of Nepal by investment of both Private & Public sectors in Nepal.
