3 percent of the total offered shares, or 65,865 units, have been secured for firm personnel, and 5% of the total offered shares, or 1,09,775 units, have been secured for mutual funds, out of a total of 21,95,509 units.

The rest of the units, 20,19,869, are opened for the general public. Following the Dordi Khola Hydropower IPO, the company’s paid-up capital will exceed Rs. 1.05 Arba.

From the 13th Baisakh until Jestha 05, 2079, the company has issued 10,54,260 unit IPO shares, or 10% of the issued capital of Rs 105.42 crore, to the project-affected people of Lamjung District. However, the valid applicants have received just 7,56,420 units, or 71.75 percent of the entire issuance.

To make a total of 21,95,509 units for the general public, the remaining 2,97,840 unsubscribed shares are added to 18,97,669 units (which is 18 percent reserved for the general public). The promoter stockholders own 72 percent of the company’s shares.

Dordi Khola Hydropower IPO

The issue manager for the Dordi Khola Hydropower IPO issuance has been named Siddhartha Capital Limited. A minimum of 10 units and a maximum of 17,00,000 units can be applied for.

The company has been given a double B minus issuer rating [ICRANP-IR] BB- by CRA Nepal Ltd. This grading indicates that a company’s risk of default in terms of timely payment of financial obligations is modest.

Dordi Khola Jal Bidyut company Ltd is a public company established under Nepal’s Companies Act 2063 on Falgun 14, 2066 (February 26, 2010) with the goal of developing and investing in hydropower projects.

It is currently developing and owning the Dordi-1 Hydroelectric Project in Lamjung District, with a capacity of 12 megawatts. Dordi Gaupalika-6, Lamjung, is the site of the project. Its registered office is in Tripureshor, Kathmandu -11, Bluestar Complex. LEDCO (Lamjung Electricity Development Company Limited) owns 84.95 percent of the business.

Dordi-1 Hydroelectric Project (12 MW)

Dordi-1 Hydroelectric Project is being developed by Dordi Khola Jal Bidyut Company Ltd (DKJBCL). The project is a Run of River type Hydropower project with generating capacity of 12 MW. According to the prevailing rules and regulations, the proponent has acquired Electricity Generation License from Ministry of Energy and concluded power purchase agreement with NEA for 10.3 MW. The rate of energy as agreed in PPA is Rs. 8.40 for dry season (Poush to Chaitra) & Rs. 4.80 for remaining month which is considered as wet season. The PPA rate increases by 3% each year upto 5 Year. According to interconnection agreement concluded with Nepal Electricity Authority the project has to evacuate the generated power to the proposed 132 kV substation at Kirtipur, Lamjung.
