The government has increased the salaries of civil servants by 15 percent. Speaking in the federal parliament on Sunday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma announced the salary increase for the fiscal year 2079-80. The Finance Minister has announced salary increase for the civil servants including army, police and teachers. Similar dearness allowance has also been given continuity.
According to the decision, the starting scale after the salary increase of civil servants is as follows, which does not include grades. There is an arrangement to get facility up to a maximum of 8 grades at the rate of one grade per year according to the position of the employee.
The details of new salary will increase by 15 percent of each basic salary. Ministry of Finance recently published the new salary scale of all government employee. Government Salary Scale with basic level & grade details are updated soon.
