Rastriya Rojgar Prawardhan Kendra – RRPK is an NGO dedicated to developing rural communities in Education, Health & Nutrition, Child Protection, Livelihood, Human Rights, Safer Migration, gender and empowerment, good governance, Disaster Risk Reduction and WASH in Nepal since 2004. It has been implementing “Sponsorship Program” & “Fostering Playful Homes: ECCD Response to COVID 19 in Nepal Project” in Sarlahi District in partnership with Save the Children
Rastriya Rojgar Prawardhan Kendra – RRPK invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizen only) who are reliable, accountable, and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following position under both “Sponsorship program” &“Fostering Playful Homes: ECCD Response to COVID 19 in Nepal program” in Godaita Municipality, Sarlahi.
1) Position: Field Officer–3
Project: Sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
With close collaboration and consultation with Project coordinator, s/he is responsible for providing technical assistance to subordinate on education (ECCD& Basic Education), Health (including Maternal & Newborn Health) and Livelihood related activities (identifying/forming/reforming farmers’ groups, conducting technical training to the local groups & farmers, forming saving and credit groups and supporting those groups in mobilizing savings and credit for livelihood promotion) and also able to prepare reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual report) and documents best practices. S/he is also responsible for monitoring, capacity building and reporting in the assigned sector.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (Education/Agriculture/Nursing).
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in any at least one of the given field i.e. Early Childhood Care and Development/Basic Education, Maternal & Newborn Health and Livelihood (On-farm & Off-farm activities) at beneficiaries’ level.
Able to organize and facilitate training/orientation of relevant sector.
Able to develop annual plan, execute, monitor and evaluate.
Having minimum 2 years’ experience in community mobilization.
Can speak English and Nepali and able to prepare report in both languages.
Aware and familiar with local language.
Computer knowledge (word, excel, power point,) and strong in email internet.
Willing to spend 70% time in field work and having willing to work with children.
Having valid driving license along with personal bike.
Able to coordinate with local and district level government structures for effective implementation of planned activities.
Can adjust in team and play the role of supportive.
2) Position: Child Protection Assistant – 1
Project: Sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
Support Ward Child Protection Committees (WCPC) to identify and refer child protection cases and work with communities to strengthen community-based child protection system.
Form/reform child clubs and child clubs’ network in coordination thematic head.
Organize training and orientation related to child protection.
Insure child protection in each thematic activity.
Identify vulnerable individuals and inform WCPC or link with other service providers and follow up accordingly.
Ensure that all planned activities are conducted timely, accurately documented, and filed in the database.
Contribute to the preparation of weekly/monthly plans and reports on activities.
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum of 10+2level in Education/Sociology/Psychology or equivalent with practical experiences in Social Work, Counselling.
At least 2 years of work experience in the same field of development and humanitarian work and NGOs.
Strong experience working with children
Strong knowledge of Child Friendly interview techniques and communicating with children.
Having high level of commitment on child safeguarding and willing to work with children
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
An excellent command of verbal and written Nepali, Local and English language.
Good knowledge word and excel.
3) Position: Community Mobilizer- 1
Project: Sponsorship
Key Responsibilities:
The Community Mobilizer (CM) is responsible for overall community mobilization in the target areas for effective and efficient implementation of project activities. S/he will coordinate, collaborate and networking with ward level stakeholders, I/NGOs and government offices for making the target program more achievable and meaningful for the entire beneficiaries. S/he manages regular supervision of target communities under ward and collects relevant data for further compilation and reporting. In overall, S/he will play a catalytic role between Sponsorship program, RRPK and Community.
Preferred Qualifications & experience:
Minimum of 10+2level or equivalent in any academic stream.
Working experience in Education, Health, Child Protection or Livelihood/Agriculture/Veterinary in rural context.
Tactfulness and excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills both in Maithili and Nepali
Ability and willingness to work in team and to work under pressure and in remote/difficult circumstances
Committed to rights based and gender & child sensitive work
Able, willing and committed to work with people of different backgrounds
4) Position: Project Officer – 1
Project: Fostering Playful Homes: ECCD Response to COVID 19 in Nepal
Key Responsibilities:
With close collaboration and consultation with Project Coordinator-Sponsorship, s/he is responsible for providing technical assistance to subordinate on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) ensuring delivery of effective and efficient programs. S/he is also responsible for monitoring, capacity building and reporting of assign project.
Preferred Qualifications & experience:
Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years’ experience as in the Education Sector.
Candidate with experience in ECCD programing will be given priority.
Education related training and orientation has organized as well as facilitated in coordination with other sectors head.
Experience in school level activities, ECCD center level activities, class monitoring and support and daily schedule.
Able to develop teaching learning materials for ECCD and capacitate ECCD teachers.
Able to develop plan, execute, monitor and evaluate.
Having minimum 2 years’ experience in community mobilization i.e. working with community and local government.
Can speak English and Nepali and able to prepare report in both languages.

With close collaboration and consultation with Project Officer, s/he is responsible for implementation, community mobilization and onsite coaching to ECCD teachers ensuring delivery of effective and efficient programs.
Preferred Qualifications & experience:
Minimum of 10+2level in Education, Social Work, or related field.
At least 2 years of work experience in Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and NGOs.
Strong experience working with children
Strong knowledge of Child Friendly interview techniques and communicating with children.
Having willing to work with children.
An excellent command of verbal and written Nepali, Local and English language.
Good knowledge word and excel.
