CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has accused the ruling coalition of carrying out violent activities against the local elections in 2022. In a press statement issued on Friday evening after the election, Chairman Oli accused the coalition of inciting violence in the election which is not hoped.

The Election Commission has concluded that necessary security arrangements could not be made in the local level elections 2079 as per hoped. Speaking at a press conference on Friday evening, Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya said that the election had to be postponed in 44 places due to a lack of necessary security arrangements.
